Come join other Catholic young adults for an afternoon of hiking and prayer in the Verdugo mountains (above Burbank).

Who: Catholics between the ages of 18 and 39 - single, married, ordained, consecrated, divorced, widowed (i.e. this is not a "singles" event)

When: Sunday, April 25, 2004, 1-4 pm

Where: Meet at the booth near the entrance to Wildwood Park (see map and directions below) between 1 and 1:30 pm.

Schedule:
1-1:30 pm - Gather at the park entrance.

1:30 pm
- Begin the climb up to a rest area near some water towers.

2:15 pm - Stop at the rest area for a break. Clayton will make a brief presentation (about 10 minutes) about the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.

2:30 pm -People can continue to the summit (about another 1 hour climb) or begin the descent to the park entrance. Those who wish to can join in praying the rosary during the remainder of the hike.

Bring: bottled water, snacks, a rosary, good sense of humor, ample supply of patience

Directions from Glenoaks Boulevard in Burbank:  Take Magnolia Boulevard north towards the mountains.  Turn left onto Sunset Canyon Drive.  Turn right onto Harvard Road.  The entrance to Wildwood Canyon Park is on the right. You may park in the parking lot off of Harvard Road immediately after the entrance to the park.
