Come join other young adults for an afternoon of hiking and Stations of the Cross in the Santa Monica mountains.
When: Palm Sunday from 2:30-5
pm.
Where: Meet at the entrance to the Wilacre Park parking
lot in preparation for a 2:30 pm ascent. In addition
to the map below, you can click here for a
detailed map of the park. There
is a charge for parking in the lot, but you may be able to find free parking
on the dead end (right hand turn off of Iredell Street).
Bring: sunscreen, bottled water and snacks. Copies of the
stations will be provided. Also note that, if you're allergic to pollen,
this will be a penitential hike for you!
We'll be stopping somewhere between 3 and 3:30 pm at a picnic area overlooking the San Fernando Valley.
