I received this announcement from Fr. Willy Raymond earlier this week:

A special anniversary invitation!

Prayer and Pasta always takes place at Family Theater Productions, the media ministry founded by Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, in 1947. He was born on January 9, 1909 in Attymas, County Mayo, Ireland. His cause for canonization, which was introduced five years after his death in 1992, has progressed rapidly. My hope is that someday, he and Archbishop Fulton Sheen will both be recognized as saints and become special patrons of the media in the 21st century. We can use their courage, brilliance and audacity as well as their humility and trust in God.

Since Peyton's anniversary of birth will take place on January 9 we plan to begin a novena of holy hours to honor his memory and continue his work on New Year's Day. Each afternoon from January 1 through to January 9, from 3 to 4 PM, we will gather in the chapel at Family Theater to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for Father Peyton's cause for canonization. I would like to invite you to join us for as many days as you can at 3 PM.

Family Theater is located at 7201 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA. There is parking available in the Family Theater parking lot off of Formosa Avenue.

I hope you will plan ahead to join us for the Novena of Holy Hours to honor Father Peyton and and to pray for his ongoing mission to strengthen families through the bond of prayer, especially the rosary.
